Ion™ 80 Variable-Speed Gas Furnace

It features a variable-speed blower motor and two-stage gas heat performance that together deliver temperature control and quiet performance. The variable-speed blower also means you’ll enjoy better summer dehumidification from your cooling unit, and you might even get a SEER boost as well. Gas furnaces use Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) as their efficiency measurement. The higher the AFUE, the greater the efficiency and the greater your energy savings potential
No Hassle Warranty
If compressor, coil or heat exchanger fails due to defect during the applicable No Hassle Replacement limited warranty time period, a one-time replacement with a comparable unit will be provided.

Blower Motor
The blower motor helps circulate heated air through the ductwork and distributes it evenly throughout the home for consistent indoor comfort.
Heating Capacity
Heating capacity for a furnace refers to the amount of heat a furnace can produce to warm a space, measured in British Thermal Units per hour (BTUh).
Operation
A single-stage unit operates at full capacity when on, a two-stage unit has two levels of operation (low for mild heating needs and high for maximum heating), and a modulating unit continuously adjusts its output to match the precise heating demands, offering more efficient and consistent temperature control.
